Deputy Engineer (Electrical)

INTRODUCTION

Since 2012 Tru Prime Pvt. Ltd. has operated Punjab’s largest 2000 head dairy farm, mostly HF, at Majara about 32km from and 8 km from Ahmedgarh.

The company now seeks to diversify into growing chamber multi-tier organic mushroom cultivation using captive cow manure and paddy straw as the principal substrate components.

The venture will consist of multiple growing chambers cultivating a variety of mushrooms, including button, oyster, paddy straw and shiitake using internally generated spawn and industry leading practices.

The company will also develop and cultivate medicinal mushrooms.

Spent mushroom substrate (SMS) will be processed in an accompanying vermicomposting facility.

Production is expected to start in JAN 2026 with 2 growing chambers of 800-meter-square growing area each.

By end of 2026 there will be 10 growing chambers, rising to 30 by end 2027 and 70 by end 2028.

The company will service both domestic and international markets, with exports dominating from year 3.

Company products will be both packaged / branded and bulk for institutional customers.

The company will develop partner farms with the supply of turnkey facilities and inoculated substrate and the buyback of SMS and bulk mushrooms.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Engineer (Electrical) to join our engineering team. The role involves managing electrical projects, installations, and maintenance across the farm and hydroponics facilities. The candidate will ensure efficient operation, energy management, and compliance with safety standards and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Design, develop, install, and maintain electrical systems and related infrastructure.

* Operate and maintain electrical equipment including transformers, generators (gensets), circuit breakers, and control panels.

* Oversee installation, operation, and upkeep of energy-efficient lighting systems.

* Handle various types of motor starters and ensure safe operation of motors.

* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.

* Interpret electrical drawings and execute projects in line with specifications.

* Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for project execution.

* Ensure adherence to safety protocols, statutory requirements, and organizational standards.

**Key Skills & Competencies**

* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems.

* Familiarity with transformers, gensets, and circuit protection devices.

* Hands-on experience with motor starters, pumps, and related control mechanisms.

* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Good interpersonal and communication abilities.

**Qualification & Experience*

* Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

* 5–8 years of experience in electrical systems design, operation, and maintenance.
