As a Food and Beverage Associate at The Westin Gurgaon New Delhi, your role involves preparing special meals or substitute items and ensuring the quality and quantity of food prepared. Your responsibilities will include: - Regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters - Pulling food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator - Maintaining food logs - Monitoring the quality and quantity of food prepared - Communicating assistance needed during busy periods - Informing Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials - Informing Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items - Ensuring the quality of the food items - Preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist - Preparing cold foods Additionally, you will assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees. You will serve as a role model and follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures. You will also anticipate and address guests" service needs, develop positive working relationships with others, and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
