Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Demi Chef de Partie Pastry to join our team at Destination Hotels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry cuisine and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats.
Develop and maintain menus that showcase creativity and attention to detail.
Collaborate with other chefs to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Participate in menu costing and inventory management.
Ensure all food products meet the highest quality standards before service.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable establishment.
Strong knowledge of pastry dough preparation, baking techniques, and decorating methods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
Culinary certification or relevant training is an asset.
