Demand Planner

As a Forecasting Analyst at our company, you will be primarily responsible for all forecasting activities related to customers and products for all brands and channels. You will create and maintain forecasting models by incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, new product development team, and other relevant stakeholders. Your role involves supporting the end-to-end forecasting process for different brands and channels. You will review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical models, and evaluate forecast results. It is important to coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast models to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions. Regular reporting to Senior and executive management of the demand plan and KPIs is a key responsibility. You will interact with sales, marketing, and NPD to understand demand forecast drivers and provide input to Supply Planning in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs volume planning for latest estimates. Additionally, engaging with stakeholders to ensure alignment in lead times, inventory days, liquidation plans, and inventory ageing is necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Create and maintain forecasting models incorporating business intelligence and information from relevant stakeholders - Support end-to-end forecasting process by reviewing historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, developing statistical models, and evaluating forecast results - Coordinate cross-functional research activities to refine forecast models and reconcile significant variances - Report the demand plan and KPIs to Senior and executive management - Interact with sales, marketing, and NPD to provide input for inventory strategies and demand forecast drivers Qualifications Required: - Graduate / MBA in Operations/Supply Chain Management Skills and Expertise Required: - Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business analytics or any field of engineering - Advanced knowledge of MS Excel - Solid understanding of demand planning and inventory management - Very strong statistical skills - Startup experience is preferable,
