Reports To: Delivery Head
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager tolead and manage the delivery of AWS Cloud Modernization programs, includinglegacy application modernization, cloud adoption, platform upgrades, anddigital enablement. The ideal candidate will possess strong Delivery managementskills, good technical understanding, and stakeholder management expertise toensure successful execution across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently own & manage end-to-end delivery of multiple modernization projects across various modernization pathways.
- Manage the delivery of large, complex technology projects.
- Define and monitor project scope, timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams including Sales, Finance, HR & Talent Acquisition for all delivery-related matters.
- Coordinate with Product engineering teams, Practice teams, architects, developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Work with project & program managers to track risks, dependencies, and issues, driving timely resolution and escalation when needed.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Prepare and present weekly status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Own project planning, estimation, and budgeting activities.
- Optimizing resource allocation (people, budget, and technology) to ensure efficient project execution.
- Implementing and overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure the modernized applications meet performance, security, and reliability requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in Delivery Management, with at least 35 years in AWS Cloud Migration & Modernization or digital transformation projects.
- Experience leading large engagements with 60+ headcount.
- Good understanding of 7-R migration/modernization strategies.
- Good understanding of application modernization approaches, including microservices, DevOps, and containerization.
- Experience delivering .Net / Java / Database / Analytics modernization programs at large enterprise customers.
- Good familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS - mandatory, Azure, GCP) and cloud migration methodologies.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams across geographies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, problem solving & conflict resolution skills
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications are a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the BFSI / Healthcare / Retail domain.
