Job Description

As a skilled professional in the field of recordkeeping and plan administration, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to plan conversions and ongoing support for operational administration clients. Your key responsibilities will include communicating with clients, recordkeepers, and successor recordkeepers to ensure smooth data transitions. You will code and test plan specifications using FIS's Omni DC recordkeeping platform, execute asset transfers for plan conversions, and coordinate the setup of voice response systems. In addition, you will provide post-conversion training to the administration team, call center, and plan sponsor as needed. Your role will involve ongoing support for operational administration clients, including making specification changes, data maintenance, reporting, and technical processing. You will monitor project progress, update project management tools, and document processes and timelines for mergers, conversions, and spinoffs. As a liaison between business and technology teams, you will be responsible for system defect submissions and testing system enhancements and service releases. You will also assist in the development and review of Omni system enhancement requests and identify opportunities for process and procedure improvements. Ensuring high-quality work products delivered in a timely manner and in compliance with internal guidelines, plan descriptions, and sample calculations will be a key aspect of your role. To be successful in this position, you must have experience with FIS Omni Admin DC/Omni systems, a minimum of 7 years of experience with OmniScript and/or custom system programming, and the ability to extract data and generate reports from Omni systems. A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of 401(k) regulatory environment, including IRC and ERISA provisions, is required, with a background in nonqualified and/or Defined Benefits plans being advantageous. Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and mathematical skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to solve problems efficiently, innovate, and work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with data analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL, or other database management programs is necessary. Additionally, knowledge or experience in programming with languages like COBOL, Pascal, or Visual Basic would be beneficial. Possessing a Qualified 401K Administrator/Consultant (QKA/QKC) or Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) designation from ASPPA is preferred for this position.,
