Job Title: Dean, ICT Department

Job Summary: The Dean of the ICT Department is responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative functions of the department. This includes leading faculty, developing curricula, ensuring high-quality teaching, managing budgets, and fostering research and innovation in Information and Communication Technology. The Dean will also represent the department within the university and in external partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and vision for the department.

Manage faculty recruitment, development, and performance.

Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with industry trends.

Promote research and innovation within the department.

Ensure the effective use of resources and manage departmental budget.

Foster partnerships with industry, government, and academic institutions.

Advise students and support academic advising programs.

Maintain high academic standards and improve the quality of teaching and learning.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in ICT or a related field.

Strong leadership and management experience.

Proven track record in academic and research excellence.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
