As a Dealer at Geojit Financial Services Ltd, your primary responsibility will be to communicate effectively with clients in order to understand their investment objectives. You will be required to provide market insights and execute trades based on the preferences and confirmations provided by the clients. It is essential to suggest trade and investment recommendations as directed by the fundamental and technical research team. Executing buy and sell orders for clients across various financial markets and instruments in a timely and accurate manner is crucial. You must ensure that proper evidence of the order has been acquired, confirming with clients on TRAQS - TRADE CODE, RATE, ACTIVITY, QUANTITY, and SCRIP. Additionally, expanding the customer base through proactive prospecting methods such as cold-calling, appointment scheduling, and leveraging references/leads is a key aspect of the role. You will be responsible for providing clients with precise trade confirmations on a daily basis and reporting any trade-related grievances from customers directly to the Compliance Department at the Head Office promptly. Activating dormant or inactive clients by encouraging them to resume trading activities is also part of your duties. Cross-selling based on customer needs, particularly third-party products, with the aim of enhancing engagement with existing clients and maximizing revenue generation for the company will be expected. Maintaining regular communication with clients through telephone calls and in-person meetings is essential. Furthermore, monitoring market conditions, trends, and news that could potentially impact the prices of securities or other financial products is crucial to stay informed and make informed trading decisions.,
