Job Description

To plan, implement and maintain Data Centre and ensure consistent performance maximizing Uptime. Summary of essential job functions: Data Centre maintenance & security. Managing the NW ports across the facilities and maintaining the standards for all hub rooms Monitoring the IM Vision Alerts and report the vulnerabilities Daily attending incident and minor problems calls in the shift reported and escalate the issue if not resolved to supervisor and, updating the daily task tracker/checklist Lodge a ticket with ISPs and follow-up till closure CO-ordinate with vendors on cabling and project requirements Minimum requirements (Education Qualification & Work Experience) Bachelor degree or Diploma in Engineering in any Branch preferred Computer Science /Electronics/telecommunication branches . Knowledge about IM Vision implementation and maintenance Minimum 8 year relevant experience Competency Requirements: [Technical & Behavioral] Must have experience in Data Center maintenance, Hub room and workstation level patching, generating reports, strong in MS office, etc. Job Responsibilities Implementation and Maintenance of networks as per the Organization requirement. Attending and troubleshooting any production and non-production related issues. Assisting on any immediate production upgrade or ramp requirements Change request closure which has been raised by the users Patching new port and configuring the same in IM Vision. Closing the helpdesk tickets which will be assigned to the NSG/DCO team. Follow-up the vendors incase of any WAN infra failure. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills. Performance Measures [Metrics for evaluating Job Holders] 1. No. of points scored for each assigned projects 2. Task tracking system record on a daily basis by individuals. 3. Production and non-production network uptime as per the SLA which is measured overall with the monitoring tool and helpdesk tickets. 4. Developments of Technical skill set to handle issue better & implement Best practices to reduce the incident/problems.
