Job Description

Job Title: Database Engineer / Data Architect

Experience: 2-4 YOE

Location- Mohali

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable database solutions (relational and/or NoSQL).
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
Design and maintain logical and physical data models supporting business requirements.
Ensure database performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization.
Work closely with software engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Implement and maintain data integration pipelines (ETL/ELT).
Ensure data security, availability, and integrity through regular audits and backups.
Participate in data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management initiatives.
Provide documentation and technical guidance on database systems and architecture.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2–4 years of experience as a Database Engineer, Data Architect, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of SQL and RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, dbt, Lucidchart, or similar).
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) is a plus..
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and managed database services.
Knowledge of performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
