Database Developer

As a Database Developer at Airlinq, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a testing and quality program for all of Airlinq's products and services. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Taking end-to-end product ownership, which involves architecture, design, and execution - Managing a large and complex platform that records and analyzes significant amounts of data - Generating complex SQL queries to extract valuable business insights from various data levels - Writing detailed Stored Procedures that deliver split-second responses To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - 2-4 years of experience in database design, optimization, and querying - Strong oral and written communication skills in English - Expertise in SQL and My SQL - In-depth knowledge of indexes, types of indexes, and indexing algorithms - Experience in architecting, optimizing, and maintaining large databases (hundreds of gigabytes) - Expert understanding of MS SQL Server internals, system tables, and databases - Proficiency in query tuning using query hints and indexes - Programming skills in any platform - Basic knowledge of Networking - Strong process orientation, with a commitment to following processes, commenting, documentation, and testing Additionally, the educational qualifications required for this role are: - B.E. / B.Tech. , M.E. /M.
