Technical Engineer (NOC Support)

As a Technical Engineer (NOC Support) based in Bengaluru, India, you will be required to have 1 to 3 years of experience. Your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Handling Level 1 analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues. - Addressing product queries efficiently. - Operating and maintaining systems, platforms, and interconnects, performing daily checklists and troubleshooting activities. This includes managing network elements such as app servers, signaling interfaces, database servers, storage arrays, Oracle, Sun, HP, and other hardware. - Managing all communication related to assigned customer accounts. - Coordinating internal and external issues with outsourced partners, service providers, and onsite teams. - Maintaining up-to-date contact information, supported product lists, technical details, troubleshooting information, fault handling information, and other relevant data. - Interfacing with customers for all Customer Service Requests (CSRs) internally and externally on a 24/7 basis. - Implementing workarounds to minimize customer downtime and ensuring the implementation of permanent solutions. - Participating or organizing Technical Call Bridges to address technical diagnostics in collaboration with customers and partners. - Maintaining connectivity and account details to provide efficient support and ensuring SLAs exceed customer contract requirements. Qualifications required for this role include a B.E./B.Tech., M.E./M.Tech., or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or MCA. Additionally, you should possess the following skill sets: - Experience in Network Operations and troubleshooting customer issues related to wireless technologies. - Strong knowledge of GSM, SS7, SCCP, and Core Network. - Proficiency in Unix, Solaris operating systems. - Excellent troubleshooting skills. - Strong computer skills with specific experience in HP Unix, Sun Solaris, and Windows environments. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment serving multiple global customers. - Strong English communication skills and a sense of urgency. Ideally, you should have 3 years of experience working as part of a 24X7 NOC team, with a minimum of 2 years of related mobile telecom network operations environment experience.,
