Database Developer

As a Database Developer at Airlinq, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a testing and quality program for the full suite of Airlinq's products and services. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Owning the end-to-end product lifecycle, from architecture and design to execution - Managing a large and complex platform that records and analyzes significant volumes of data - Utilizing complex SQL queries to extract valuable business insights from the data - Writing detailed Stored Procedures to ensure split-second responses To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - 2-4 years of experience in database design, optimization, and querying - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English - Expertise in SQL and MySQL - Proficiency in working with indexes, various types of indexes, and indexing algorithms - Experience in architecting, optimizing, and maintaining large databases (hundreds of gigabytes) - In-depth knowledge of MS SQL Server internals, system tables, and databases - Ability to tune queries using query hints and indexes - Programming skills in any platform - Basic understanding of networking - Strong process orientation with a commitment to following processes, documentation, testing, and commenting Additionally, you should have a relevant educational background, such as a B.E./B.Tech., M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or MCA.
