You will be working as a Database Developer at Airlinq in Jaipur, India. Reporting to the VP Engineering, you will collaborate with the Engineering and Development teams to establish and maintain a robust testing and quality program across Airlinq's product and service portfolio. Your responsibilities will encompass end-to-end product ownership, including architecture, design, and execution. Your primary focus will involve managing a sophisticated platform for recording and analyzing extensive data volumes. This will require proficiently generating complex SQL queries to extract valuable business insights from diverse data sets. Additionally, you will be expected to craft detailed Stored Procedures that deliver rapid responses. To excel in this role, you should possess 2-4 years of experience in database design, optimization, and querying. Strong oral and written communication skills in English are essential. Proficiency in SQL and MySQL is a must, along with a deep understanding of indexes, various indexing types, and indexing algorithms. Your expertise should extend to architecting, optimizing, and maintaining large databases, some of which could span hundreds of gigabytes. A comprehensive understanding of MS SQL Server internals, system tables, and databases is required, along with the ability to fine-tune queries using query hints and indexes. Proficiency in programming on any platform, basic networking knowledge, and a process-oriented approach are highly desirable. You should also have a demonstrated commitment to adhering to processes, documentation, commenting, and testing. The ideal candidate will hold a B.E./B.Tech., M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or MCA, coupled with 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
