Database Administrator

As a Team Member in IT Services at our company, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - PostgreSQL Installation - PostgreSQL Database backups using pg_basebackup and pg_dump utility - Creating Database Streaming Replication and Monitoring - Creating and Managing PostgreSQL Users and Schemas - Monitoring and Analysis of PostgreSQL log files - Monitoring server space and log files purging - PostgreSQL database upgrade - Knowledge and worked on PostgreSQL Installation, backup, and Recovery pg_baseBackup, pg_dump, postgresql conf, pg_hba.conf, Streaming Replication To qualify for this position, you need to have a B.Tech in Computer Science or MCA with 2-3 years of work experience. Key skills required include being a PostgreSQL Database Administrator. It would be beneficial to have knowledge of Oracle and Linux-based Operating systems.
