Job Description

Job Title: Snowflake Database Administrator (5-8 Years) – Hyderabad-Hybrid

Snowflake DBA

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Snowflake databases: user/security management, performance tuning, HA, space management, backup & recovery
Automate deployments and DBA tasks using
Python, Shell, PLSQL
, and tools like
Ansible/Terraform
Troubleshoot Snowflake issues and ensure high availability
Implement security practices: encryption, masking, and regular audits for PII/PCI data
Optimize queries and Snowflake performance
Monitor and maintain capacity planning, utilization, and alerts
Develop workflows using Python/PowerShell and orchestration tools (Airflow or similar)

Qualifications & Skills:

5-8 years’ experience as
Snowflake DBA
Strong in
Snowflake, ANSI-SQL, Dimensional Data Modeling, Snowflake AI/ML, Snowflake Data Science
Expertise in
AWS, ETL concepts
, and orchestration tools
Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Shell, Ansible, Terraform)
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
