DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

The Database Administrator position at Arrow Electronics, Inc. requires you to ensure all assigned database-related issues are resolved promptly to minimize user impact. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing Oracle Clones, Application Installation Patches, and Upgrades. Conducting root cause analysis on persistent or major database problems, performing Application Maintenance, and researching Application Issues are also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide On-Call Support for project/production environments and assist with Maintenance Outages throughout the year. To qualify for this role, you should have 3-5 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA with expertise in Oracle 11g/12c/19g database, Oracles RAC, ASM, and RMAN. Experience administering Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.1.3 and R12.2.9 or other enterprise applications is essential. A good understanding of Incident/Request and CHANGE MANAGEMENT processes, familiarity with ticketing systems and ERP monitoring systems, and strong Troubleshooting Skills are required. You must be willing to work in 24x7 shifts, participate in scheduled Weekend Activities like upgrades and patches, and have experience with Oracle middleware technologies such as OAM, OIM, IDM, SOA, Hyperion, BI/OBIEE, EPM, and WebCenter. Knowledge of products like Demantra and Golden Gate is also beneficial.
