Job Description

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Required Min. 5 years of hands-on DBA experience.
Strong expertise in one or more RDBMS (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization (PTO).
Solid understanding of backup/recovery tools and disaster recovery planning.
Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL) preferred.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Firestore, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Design, install, configure, and maintain relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
Monitor database performance, implement tuning, and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
Ensure database security, backup, recovery, and high availability.
Manage database capacity planning, upgrades, and patching.
Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
Collaborate with developers to design database schemas and optimize application queries.
Perform data migration, replication, and integration tasks.
Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies.
Provide 24/7 support for critical production systems when required.
