Description
As a Director Data Strategy Lead at Capgemini Invent India's Enterprise Data Analytics (EDA) team, you will be at the forefront of the Data Strategy capability. Your role involves shaping, selling, and delivering strategic data consulting engagements that facilitate business transformation through data. To excel in this position, you need to be a visionary leader with profound expertise in data strategy, architecture frameworks, cloud modernization, and AI. Additionally, strong customer-facing and storytelling capabilities are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with clients and senior stakeholders, advocating Capgemini Invent's data strategy offerings. - Develop and implement enterprise-wide data strategies aligned with business objectives, utilizing frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, and DAMA. - Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on data modernization, Data Quality, governance, MDM, and AI-driven transformation. - Establish and lead a high-performing data strategy team, promoting consulting excellence and continuous learning. - Design and implement scalable data solutions such as Data Lakes, Data Mesh, and Cloud-native platforms. - Drive cloud data modernization initiatives on AWS, Azure, and GCP, incorporating AI/ML capabilities. - Manage large-scale data programs using agile methodologies to ensure quality and business impact. - Identify and secure new data strategy engagements across key industry verticals. - Create reusable data assets and frameworks to facilitate asset-based consulting and delivery. - Represent Capgemini Invent at industry forums, contributing to thought leadership in data strategy and AI. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - Over 16 years of experience in data consulting, strategy, and enterprise architecture. - Proficiency in data architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman), data governance (DAMA). - Strong knowledge of at least two cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) with extensive experience in deploying AI-driven solutions at scale. - Familiarity with AI Governance, latest Data & AI trends. - Hands-on expertise in creating data warehouses, Data lakes, ETL/ELT, Data pipelines, and reporting/analytic tools. - Good understanding of the Gen AI area and how data can support GenAI's emergence. - Proven track record in cloud data modernization, AI/ML integration, and GenAI readiness. - Experience in building data warehouses, lakes, pipelines, and analytics environments. - Exceptional storytelling and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset. - Demonstrated success in one or more industries such as Life Sciences, Consumer Products & Retail (CPR), Automotive, or Manufacturing.,
