Data Scientist Mentor

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide and mentor students on their data science learning journey.
• Provide detailed feedback on student assignments, projects, and assessments.
• Conduct online mentoring sessions, either one-on-one or in groups, on topics like data analytics, machine learning, and data visualization.
• Assist students in understanding data science tools and techniques, including Python, R, SQL, Power BI, and machine learning algorithms.
• Support students with real-world project challenges and help them build a professional portfolio.
• Ensure students are well-prepared for job interviews and career opportunities in the field of data science.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and analytics.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the data science and analytics field (industry or teaching).
• Strong understanding of data science concepts, tools, and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Hands-on experience with machine learning, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for teaching and helping students grow.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and guide students through practical projects.
• Availability for weekend or evening mentorship sessions, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous teaching or mentoring experience in data science.
• Certifications in data science or related fields (IBM, NASSCOM, etc.).
• Experience in working with data science tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
