Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist for Compliance & Internal Audit Support in Hyderabad, India, you will play a crucial role in leveraging advanced analytics and emerging technologies to strengthen compliance and audit capabilities. Your responsibilities will include: - Applying advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights supporting compliance monitoring, auditing, and risk assessment. - Developing scalable and automated data products and pipelines to enhance audit and compliance processes, while staying updated on new advancements in AI technologies. - Accessing and analyzing data from various enterprise systems to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in transactions. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative analytics solutions across different departments. - Presenting complex analyses and insights in a clear manner to senior stakeholders and diverse audiences. - Supporting priority projects and providing ad hoc analytics as required. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with 4+ years of experience, OR Ph.D. in a relevant field with 2+ years of experience. Preferred qualifications for this position are: - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and familiarity with statistical programming and machine learning frameworks. - Experience with data platforms like Alteryx, Tableau, Databricks, SAS, or cloud-based solutions, with preference for AWS. - Ability to work with structured and unstructured data, including text and natural language processing. - Hands-on experience in data visualization and dashboard creation for non-technical audiences. - Familiarity with AuditBoard or similar governance, risk, and compliance tools is advantageous. - Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment. - Innovative mindset with a passion for leveraging emerging AI technologies in compliance and audit contexts. - Detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
