Job Description

As a member of the Analytics Information Management (AIM) team at Citi, you will be part of a global community driving data-driven transformation across the organization. Your role within the DQM team will involve managing the implementation of data quality measurement programs in the retail consumer bank sector. Your key responsibilities will include: - Executing business data quality measurements in alignment with regulatory programs such as CCAR and AML - Designing metrics by identifying critical data elements, creating data quality rules, and testing and validating these rules - Standardizing data definitions and ensuring consistency in measurement across systems, products, and regions for effective Data Governance - Publishing monthly/quarterly scorecards at the country level and preparing executive summary reports for senior management - Identifying defects, investigating root causes of issues, and following up with stakeholders for timely resolution - Providing data evidence for audit completion by identifying control gaps and policy breaches To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate expertise in the following areas: - Analytical skills with a focus on data analysis, visualization, and formulating analytical methodology to generate actionable business insights - Proficiency in tools like SAS, SQL, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA - Domain knowledge in data definitions, data discovery, data quality framework, and process improvement related to compliance and data quality initiatives - Hands-on experience in KPI design, issue resolution, and measuring the effectiveness of data quality programs - Soft skills such as problem-solving, communication, interpersonal skills, project management, and the ability to collaborate across functional areas The ideal candidate for this role will have an educational background that includes an MBA or Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or Engineering from a premier institute. Additionally, a preferred qualification would be a post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics, or Management Science. You should have 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in delivering data quality solutions, with at least 2 years of experience in the Banking Industry.
