Data Quality Analyst

As a Data Quality Intermediate Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering subject matter and industry expertise across the enterprise in coordination with the Data Quality team. You will be expected to work independently to solve complex problems, integrating in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Your role will involve partnering with business teams to develop process improvements, solutions, and streamline operational workflows. Additionally, you will apply professional judgment and attention to detail when interpreting data and results based on the analysis of information. You may also provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new or lower-level team members. Effective communication with project stakeholders and internal parties is crucial, and you will work and coordinate with a multidisciplinary group of business leads, operations managers, and technologists. Conducting root cause analysis, dispositioning data quality scorecard exceptions, and reporting data quality issues through the Data Concern Remediation Management process will be part of your responsibilities. You will also define detailed business data requirements and document them to ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with business teams to develop process improvements and streamline operational workflows - Apply professional judgment and attention to detail when interpreting data and results - Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new or lower-level team members - Communicate tactfully and diplomatically with project stakeholders or internal parties - Work and coordinate with a multidisciplinary group of business leads, operations managers, and technologists - Conduct root cause analysis and disposition of data quality scorecard exceptions - Report data quality issues through the Data Concern Remediation Management process - Define detailed business data requirements and document them appropriately Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience with defining and implementing Data Quality programs; Banking or Finance industry preferred - Proficiency in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Working knowledge of Collibra and other Data Governance industry standard tools - Working knowledge of Tableau (report consumer, developer, etc.) - Demonstrated understanding of Database structures - Flexible, team-oriented, and possess good interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Education: - Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience Additional Details: If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use Citigroup's search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, review Accessibility at Citi.
