About Us

Role Overview

The Data Privacy, Security, Analytics, Reporting, and Visualization Specialist will play a key role in transforming the organizations fragmented and siloed data landscape into an integrated, secure, and well-governed architecture. The role involves reviewing the existing as-is environment consisting of multiple structured and unstructured data sources and participating in designing and implementing the to-be consolidated data architecture using the Microsoft technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Architecture Assessment & Design

• Assist in reviewing current as-is data architecture across various siloed systems, applications, and data sources.
• Analyze data flows, formats, dependencies, quality, and governance gaps.
• Contribute to designing the to-be consolidated and standardized Microsoft-based data architecture.
• Support the creation of data models, integration workflows, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation.

2. Data Integration, Transformation & Storage

• Develop and maintain data integration processes using

  SSIS

  .
• Support building data models, cubes, and analytical structures using

  SSAS

  .
• Work with

  SQL Server

  to design schemas, optimize queries, manage data quality, and ensure secure storage.
• Collaborate on migrating legacy or siloed datasets into unified Microsoft-based repositories.
• Exposure to Azure Storage (Data Lake, Blob Storage) preferred.

3. Reporting & Visualization

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using

  Power BI

  aligned to business KPIs.
• Create paginated reports and enterprise reporting structures using

  SSRS

  .
• Ensure semantic models and datasets are optimized, secure, and governed.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver insights.

4. Data Governance, Privacy & Security

• Support implementation of

  Microsoft Purview

  for:
• Data discovery, cataloging, and classification
• Data privacy and compliance governance
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Access controls and sensitivity labeling
• Assist in establishing governance frameworks, policies, and data standards.
• Help monitor data quality, lineage, and compliance across applications and platforms.

5. Standardization, Consolidation & Efficiency

• Participate in initiatives to simplify and consolidate multiple data feeds, reporting systems, and analytics platforms.
• Support development of reusable data pipelines, templates, and reporting models.
• Contribute to reducing TCO through simplification of processes, automation, and improved data lifecycle management.

6. Collaboration & Execution

• Work with cross-functional teams Data Engineering, BI, IT, Security, Compliance, and Business Units.
• Help prepare documentation including design specs, SOPs, governance artifacts, and training material.
• Assist in testing, deployment, and steady-state support of the implemented architecture.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4 to 7 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, BI reporting, or data governance roles.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server (Queries, Stored Procedures, performance tuning).
• Practical experience with:

• SSIS

  -ETL development and data orchestration

• SSAS

  -tabular/multidimensional models (preferred)

• SSRS

  -enterprise reporting

• Power BI

  - dashboards, DAX, semantic models
• Good understanding of data security concepts, data classification, access controls, and privacy principles.
• Exposure to

  Microsoft Purview

  for data governance and DLP (preferred).
• Familiarity with Azure data storage technologies (e.g., Azure Blob, Data Lake).

General Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data quality and detail.
• Ability to work with diverse data sets (structured/unstructured) and translate business needs into technical data solutions.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with business, IT, compliance, and security teams.
• Strong documentation ability (data dictionaries, mappings, design documents, SOPs).

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate
• ISO 27001 / Data Privacy Certifications (desirable)
