Data Platform developer Analyst

As a Data Platform Developer Analyst at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects. Your responsibilities will include planning, budgeting, and ensuring adherence to quality and governance standards. You will lead the evolution of the digital landscape, promoting innovation and excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Define API specifications (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and maintain accurate documentation for internal and external consumers. - Proficiency in SQL, data analysis tools, and data modeling concepts. - Support QA and UAT for API endpoints, ensuring performance, reliability, and adherence to non-functional requirements. - Implement API monitoring, logging, and compliance checks in line with enterprise standards. - Lead and coordinate data migration and transformation initiatives, ensuring data accuracy and compliance throughout the process. - Assist in transitioning legacy SOAP APIs to modern RESTful services and event-driven architectures. Qualifications Required: - Minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree. Accountabilities: - Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification. - Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks. - Designing and building data pipelines for automation. - Application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI. - Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations.
