Job Description

Data Platform and Engineering Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage the development, scaling, and operations of the enterprise-wide Data Platform, collaborating closely with external vendors, internal data teams, and leadership stakeholders.
Oversee the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native data solutions.
Ensure seamless
ETL/ELT processes
, data pipelines, and advanced data processing capabilities.

Skills Required:

Strong expertise in
Data Lakehouse, Cloud (AWS preferred), Azure
, and detailed data architecture.
Deep understanding of ETL processes,
Spark Framework
, and modern data stack principles.
Proficiency in
SQL
,
Python
, or
Scala
for data engineering.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and workflow orchestration (e.g.,
Airflow, Step Functions
).
Experience with data governance and cataloging (e.g.,
AWS Glue Catalog, Hive Metastore
).
Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
for data engineering projects.
Good understanding of data security, access management, and compliance frameworks.
Familiarity with
MLOPS
and
LLM OPS
.

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
