DevOps Engineer

Years of Experience: 5-8 years

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various projects.

Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and performance.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Work with geospatial data and tools like MapBox to support application development.

Technical Skills:

Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies.

Experience in supporting DevOps for SQL databases, including PostgreSQL, SQL, MySQL, and Cassandra.

Experience with Big Data technologies.

Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js and Nuxt.js

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree or master's Degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience in Devops.

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

Strong understanding of software development methodologies, programming languages, and software

architecture

Experience with Agile development methodologies

Familiarity with telecommunications industry technologies.

What will your job look like

You will create database and database objects like schema, tables, partitions, views, triggers, functions, and procedures.

You will Investigate, debug, and reproduce issues, provide fixes and workarounds, and verify changes to ensure continued operability of the database architecture.

You will have the ownership and accountability of open source environment and provide technical support and guidance in problem resolution for complex queries.

You will bring continuous improvements/efficiencies to an open source environment by utilizing Software Engineering tools, various innovations and techniques and the reuse of existing solutions.

You will be developing new database modules/tools or implementing enhancements in existing applications.
