TCS is hiring for Data Modeler - Architect Experience Range: 10+ Years Job Location: Hyderabad (Adibatla), Chennai Job Summary: Detail-oriented and analytical Data Modeler to design, implement, and maintain logical and physical data models that support business intelligence, data warehousing, and enterprise data integration needs. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, data architects, and software engineers to ensure data is organized effectively and support scalable, high-performance applications. Required Skills: • Strong understanding of relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data modeling techniques. • Proficient in data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, Enterprise Architect, PowerDesigner, SQL Developer Data Modeler). • Experience with Advanced SQL and major database platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL). • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure SQL, Snowflake). • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles. • Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., ETL pipelines, OLAP cubes). • Familiarity with industry standards such as CDM (Common Data Model), FHIR, or other domain-specific models Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models. • Translate business requirements into data structures that support analytics, reporting, and operational needs. • Work with stakeholders to understand and document data needs and flows. • Optimize and maintain existing data models for performance and scalability. • Ensure data models are consistent with architectural guidelines and standards. • Develop and maintain metadata repositories and data dictionaries. • Collaborate with data architects and engineers to implement models within databases and data platforms. • Assist in data quality analysis and improvement initiatives. • Document data models and data mapping specifications.
