Data Mining & Research Specialist

You are a Data Mining & Research Specialist joining ISMG, a tech-enabled global intelligence firm specializing in cybersecurity journalism, technology, and artificial intelligence. Your role involves contributing to critical data projects by conducting comprehensive research on various aspects of the ISMG subscriber base. Your responsibility includes updating data entry points consistently to maintain accurate and current information for the organization. Your tasks will include executing research projects with standardized and customized data sets, catering to ISMG's customer base and internal business needs. You will also be involved in managing large data sets to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of projects. Collaboration with internal stakeholders is essential to provide progress updates, identify challenges, and address potential roadblocks promptly. To qualify for this role, a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field is preferred. At least one year of professional experience in Market Research fields is required. Advanced expertise in Excel for handling complex data analysis tasks, proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and the ability to adapt to various data and marketing programs quickly are necessary skills. Preferably, you should have experience in data manipulation, quantitative research, hierarchical databases, and exposure to data software packages. Knowledge of Power BI is considered a significant advantage. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong presentation abilities are crucial for this role. Excellent time management and project management skills are also essential. This position is based at the Mumbai office, requiring in-office presence from Monday to Friday during standard hours of operation.,
