Role Overview: You will be joining Information Security Media Group (ISMG) as a full-time Copy Editor to be a part of the Global Copy Desk team. Your primary responsibilities will include copy editing, proofreading, content creation, and providing business communication support to various internal departments and lines of business within ISMG. You will work with diverse content formats such as articles, abstracts, interviews, webinars, newsletters, and custom content, contributing to maintaining editorial processes at the highest global standards. Key Responsibilities: - Provide desk services for editorial content - Edit and proofread content in various formats like articles, audio/video interviews, webinars, newsletters, custom content, etc. - Transcribe and edit transcripts of multimedia content such as video interviews, audio interviews, webinars, and event sessions - Ensure all content meets quality standards before publication - Coordinate with the creative team for illustrations or photographs to enhance layouts - Support marketing initiatives by creating and publishing content as required by various departments and lines of business - Provide copy desk support to other ISMG brands and business units - Collaborate and network with other editors and writers for custom content initiatives - Ghostwrite for custom content creation - Proofread text and correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors - Verify the factual correctness of information, including dates and statistics - Check content for style, readability, and adherence to global editing guidelines - Ensure the correct tone, voice, clarity, flow, and structure of content - Generate fresh and creative ideas while considering the target audience - Communicate effectively with relevant teams to ensure timely content publication - Stay informed about the latest developments and trends in the cybersecurity and technology domains through continuous learning Qualification Required: - Master's degree in any field - 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role - Knowledge of AP Stylebook and strong editing abilities - Proficiency in MS Office suite - Efficient multitasking ability with good time management skills - Capability to work effectively under pressure and adhere to deadlines - Proactive, detail-oriented, and ability to take initiatives - Flexibility in adapting to a changing work environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency - Knowledge of cybersecurity and technology domains would be an added advantage,
