We are hiring for

Job Role:- Data Integration Engineer

Exp Range:- 5+yrs

Job Purpose/Summary:-

Key Responsibilities:

1. API & Integration Development

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs for internal and external applications.
  
• Integrate APIs from third-party platforms (CRM, SaaS tools, etc.) with internal systems and AI-driven copilots.
  
• Apply best practices for API authentication, authorization, and documentation.
  

2. Data Integration & Pipeline Engineering

• Build and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines for seamless data movement across systems.
  
• Implement and manage ETL/ELT workflows for data transformation, validation, and synchronization.
  
• Work closely with AI/ML teams to ensure high-quality, reliable data for model training and inference.
  

3. Workflow Automation

• Develop and automate workflows using no-code/low-code orchestration tools (n8n, Zapier, Make.com).
  
• Streamline business processes through custom integrations and automation logic.
  

4. Architecture, Monitoring & Security

• Collaborate with DevSecOps and compliance teams to ensure integrations meet GDPR, CCPA, and internal security standards.
  
• Monitor API and pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for scalability and reliability.
  
• Maintain architecture diagrams, data flow documentation, and system integration specifications.
  

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with backend engineers, data teams, AI teams, and product managers to deliver integration solutions.
  
• Provide technical insights, feasibility assessments, and solution design recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in API design & development:

  FastAPI, Flask, OpenAPI/Swagger

  .
• Experience with relational & NoSQL databases:

  PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB

  .
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and serverless services:

  AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Step Functions

  .
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline frameworks.
  
• Experience with no-code/low-code automation tools:

  n8n, Zapier, Make.com

  .
• Strong scripting/programming skills:

  Python, JavaScript, or Go

  .
• Expertise in authentication and security protocols:

  OAuth2, JWT, SAML

  .
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and API security best practices.
  

Bonus / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with message brokers:

  Kafka, RabbitMQ

  .
• Familiarity with API gateways:

  Kong, Apigee

  .
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools:

  Datadog, Postman, Logstash, Logfire

  .
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and compliance frameworks.
  
• Cloud or integration-related certifications (AWS Developer, Zapier Expert, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in API development, data integration, backend engineering, or related roles.
  
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable integrations with third-party systems and automation platforms.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, Get Stuff Done (GSD) mindset.
  
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and fast-paced environments.
