Role Overview: As a Data Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex integrations between Salesforce and ERP systems. Your role will involve working with API integrations, middleware tools, and data management to ensure seamless and secure data flow across enterprise platforms. Your hands-on technical skills and strong analytical capabilities will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, architect, and develop end-to-end integration solutions between Salesforce and ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. - Lead integration projects from requirements gathering to deployment, focusing on scalability, reliability, and data security. - Utilize APIs (REST/SOAP) and ETL/middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Talend) for implementing integration workflows. - Define and implement data mapping, transformation, and synchronization strategies to facilitate seamless data exchange. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure data integrity and optimize performance. - Collaborate with Salesforce developers, ERP teams, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for data flows, interface designs, and integration logic. - Implement best practices in data governance, security, and compliance for all integrations. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to establishing integration standards and reusable frameworks. Qualification & Skills: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in data integration, middleware development, or system architecture, focusing on Salesforce-ERP integrations. - Proficiency in API-based integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML). - Hands-on experience with integration or ETL tools like MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica Cloud, or Talend. - Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, objects, and integration APIs. - Familiarity with ERP data structures (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). - Proficient in data transformation, error handling, and performance tuning. - Experience with Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce Flow integration patterns is a plus. - Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
