Job Description

Job Summary:

Data Governance Specialist

Role & responsibilities

Implement and manage Data Governance and Data Quality solutions using tools such as
Collibra, Alation, Informatica, or Microsoft Purview
.
Apply industry-standard frameworks like
DCAM
and
DAMA DMBOK
to design and enhance governance processes.
Drive data quality initiatives including
matching, merging, and creation of golden records
for master data entities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DG practices into
ERP systems
and ETL pipelines.
Maintain metadata repositories and ensure data lineage and stewardship practices are followed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in at least
three DG tools
: Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Purview.
Strong understanding of
Data Governance frameworks
(DCAM, DAMA DMBOK).
Certifications
such as CDMP, DCAM, Collibra Ranger, or IDGC are highly desirable.
Hands-on experience in
MDM, ETL, and DG implementations
.
Familiarity with
ERP systems
and enterprise data architecture.
