Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Entry Operator with prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate must have strong MS Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage and process data accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Enter daily data including production records, batch details, inventory logs, purchase/sales entries, and other operational documents.

Perform data cleaning, formatting, and reconciliation using Excel.

Create reports using formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and other Excel functions.

Identify missing or inconsistent records and communicate with the relevant teams.

Maintain confidentiality and follow GMP/ISO documentation standards.

Prepare weekly and monthly summaries for the management team.

Assist with labeling, barcoding, and batch numbering entries when required.

Required Skills

1–3 years of data entry or back-end documentation experience — pharma industry experience is strongly preferred.

Strong command of MS Excel, including:

Essential formulas (SUM, IF, COUNTIF, etc.)

Pivot Tables & report generation

Data validation, conditional formatting

Text functions and data cleaning tools

High attention to detail and strong time management skills.

Basic understanding of data confidentiality and pharmaceutical documentation standards.

Good communication skills.

Qualifications

Intermediate / Diploma / Bachelor’s degree (any field).

1–3 years of relevant experience; pharma background highly preferred.

Excel certification or training is an added advantage.

Performance Expectations

Maintain data accuracy of 98% or higher.

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time.
Produce error-free Excel summaries when required.

Screening Test (Recommended)

10–15 minute Excel test: data cleaning, VLOOKUP, duplicate removal.

Typing speed and accuracy test.

Short interview to evaluate pharma documentation experience.
