Duties & Responsibilities:

Platform & Data Solution Architecture

• Develop and communicate a clear platform vision to enable business growth and operational efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business, and security) to define priorities and solve challenges
• Design

  end-to-end data pipelines

  leveraging

  AWS services

  such as

  S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and SageMaker

  .
• Implement

  data product storage, processing, and APIs

  using AWS-native tools and serverless architectures.
• Use

  AWS Lake Formation

  for fine-grained access control and secure data sharing across domains.
• Architect

  multi-tenant, domain-oriented data lakes

  and integrate with Redshift Spectrum / Athena for distributed querying.
• Apply

  Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK)

  for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Drive platform governance, ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Mentor team members on secure coding practices, compliance, and architectural principles.
• Lead design reviews and technical discussions to ensure secure and scalable implementations.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in platform engineering, data architect, data engineering, or solution architecture.
• Strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms.
• Proven track record in designing and managing multi-tenant systems on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud, Big data and Analytics ecosystem (Airflow, Spark, Python, Flink, AWS Batch, S3, Athena, ECS-Fargate, SQS).

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.

• Advanced skills in Terraform (IaC).
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
