Role & responsibilities

Job Title:

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of
scalable data solutions
, including ETL pipelines, data models, and reporting frameworks.
Provide
day-to-day technical guidance
to a team of Data Engineers and Data Analysts, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Collaborate with Project Managers and clients to
translate business needs
into technical specifications and actionable insights.
Oversee
data pipeline development and maintenance
using SQL and Azure Data Flow / Data Factory.
Support
analytics and visualization initiatives
using Power BI (and other BI tools where applicable).
Review deliverables
, perform code and data quality checks, and ensure adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot
complex data or integration issues
and propose effective solutions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to
manage dependencies
and ensure smooth execution.
Contribute to the
technical roadmap
, define standards, and drive process improvements across the analytics function.
Balance time effectively across multiple ongoing projects (
~60–70% on core analytics projects and ~30–40% on other initiatives
).

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or related technical roles
Strong expertise in
SQL, Python, and Azure Data Flows / Data Factory
Working knowledge of
Power BI
or similar visualization tools
Proven experience in
leading or mentoring small technical teams
Exposure to
end-to-end project delivery
— from requirement gathering to deployment
Excellent
problem-solving
skills and ability to troubleshoot data and integration issues
Strong
communication and stakeholder management
skills — ability to interact confidently with clients and internal teams
Organized, detail-oriented
, and comfortable handling multiple priorities

Preferred / Nice to Have

Experience with
other cloud platforms
(AWS, GCP) or modern data stack tools (dbt, Synapse, Snowflake, etc.)
Prior experience working in
consulting, managed services, or client-facing analytics environments
Exposure to
automation, scripting, or data quality frameworks

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science
