Data Engineer – Data Warehouse

Location:

EDW / Teradata
ETL (Informatica PowerCenter preferred, others acceptable)
SQL (strong concepts and complex queries)

Detailed Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solutions using Teradata.
Develop and maintain ETL workflows (Informatica PowerCenter or equivalent tools such as DataStage, Talend).
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
Work with data models (Star/Snowflake schemas, SCDs, Fact/Dimension tables).
Perform performance tuning for ETL jobs and database queries.
Automate tasks using Unix/Linux shell scripting.
Use batch scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, Tivoli, etc.) for workflow automation.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data quality across systems.
