Description Do you have the technical prowess to build data solutions that process billions of rows a day using AWS technologies? Are you excited about creating real-time and batch analytics platforms that drive business decisions? Do you thrive on solving complex data challenges and implementing big data architectures? We're seeking a talented Data Engineer who is passionate about working with large-scale data analytics solutions and cloud technologies. First things first, you must know SQL and data modelling like the back of your hand. You need to know Big Data and MPP systems. You have a history of coming up with innovative solutions to complex technical problems. You are a quick and willing learner of new technologies. You are not tool-centric; You determine what technology works best for the problem at hand and apply it accordingly. You will work with top-notch technical professionals developing complex systems at scale and with a focus on sustained operational excellence. We are looking for people who are motivated by thinking big, moving fast, and exploring business insights. If you love to implement solutions to hard problems while working hard, having fun, and making history, this may be the opportunity for you. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of data engineering experience Experience with SQL Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines Experience with one or more query language (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala) Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g., Python, KornShell) Preferred Qualifications Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
