Data Engineer

.We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join a dynamic AI Product Team focused on building scalable data solutions for machine learning and AI applications. You will work with large-scale datasets, develop robust and reliable data pipelines, and ensure data is cleaned, transformed, and available for analytics and AI workflows. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and other stakeholders while leveraging modern cloud platforms and big data technologies. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, passionate about data quality, and thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven insights and innovation across multiple initiatives.
Accountabilities:
- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines to support data science and machine learning workflows
- Ingest, clean, transform, and validate large volumes of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Design ETL pipelines and processes that ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility
- Collaborate with AI, ML, and data science teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets
- Utilize cloud platforms including AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, S3), Azure, and Google Cloud (Vertex AI) for data processing and storage
- Work with big data technologies such as Apache Spark and Snowflake to enable large-scale analytics
- Manage relational and non-relational databases including SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases
- Proficiency in Python or a comparable scripting language for data workflows
- Familiarity with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, PySpark, or Pandas
- Experience in data cleaning, transformation, and handling inconsistent or missing data
- Basic understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehousing
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively
- Nice to have: experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), tools like Airflow, DBT, Kafka, unstructured data processing, version control (Git), and ML workflow support
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI/ML, or a related field
