Hi Everyone, Optum is hiring Data Engineer at Bangalore and Hyderabad. Experience - 2-4 yrs Notice Period - Immediate - 30 days Location - Bangalore (Preferable) and Hyderabad Primary Skills: Python Pandas Numpy ETL SQL Docker & Kubernetes (Knowledge) Kafka (Knowledge preferable) Primary Responsibilities: Build scalable, fault-tolerant batch and real-time data ingestion pipelines, data transformation and data mining jobs Create and maintain data-driven APIs to support a wide range of data integrations and data services Work with various data stores and databases including all aspects configuration and administration required to maintain it Recommend and implement best practices for Python application development Help set technical direction and provide guidance to more junior data engineers Own or assist with incident and problem management Collaborate with the rest of the agile team at daily stand ups and other agile ceremonies Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with software framework development using python and its inbuilt frameworks. 2+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes. 2+ years of experience developing data pipelines, ETL jobs using Python 1+ year of experience working knowledge of ELK stack and data streaming using Kafka Sound knowledge of data model, schemas and algorithms Working experience in CI/CD pipeline (test, build, deployment and monitoring automation) Good understanding of Data / Information security Good in Data Structure, Algorithms and Design Patterns Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills Knowledge of software configuration management and packaging Demonstrates hands-on knowledge of Open Source adoption and use cases Product / Project / Program Related Tech Stack: - Python, UNIX - DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub - Scheduling: Airflow, Grafana - Development Methodology / Engineering Practices: Agile (Scrum / Kanban / SAFe) Preferred Qualifications: College degree in computer science, business, or a related field Experience with data streaming Experience with relational and Cloud databases Aptitude for learning and be a great team player strong track record Interested can shoot their resume at mohammad_ayub@optum.com or can reach me on 8008600298 .
