Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks.

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable data solutions.

• Optimize and troubleshoot big data workflows to ensure high availability and performance.

• Implement best practices for data architecture, data governance, and security.

• Monitor data quality and ensure consistency across various data endpoints.

• Document processes, workflows, and technical solutions for internal knowledge sharing.

• Proactively identify and resolve data-related technical issues within set SLAs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with proven expertise in Databricks.

• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and big data processing.

• Strong command of SQL, Python or Scala for data manipulation and analysis.

• Experience integrating data from multiple sources and APIs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in hybrid work settings, collaborating effectively both onsite and remotely.

• Demonstrated analytical thinking and a problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in hybrid enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Background in data warehousing and real-time data streaming solutions.
