We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions supporting global clients.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of data engineering experience with proven ability to implement robust data pipelines, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to enable advanced analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across distributed environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Engineering, and Data Activator.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and processing solutions for large-scale, structured and semi-structured datasets.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to support analytics, BI, and reporting needs.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and regulatory compliance across all data processes and environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data pipelines and platforms, following best practices in documentation and version control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer working with large-scale data solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Engineering, Data Activator).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT workflows, and data modeling.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and automation.
• Good understanding of cloud data engineering (preferably Azure) and its native services.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, or Databricks.
• Exposure to data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience integrating data from multiple on-premises and cloud sources.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and version control for data projects.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Azure Data Engineer).
