Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our data and analytics team. The role involves working with large-scale datasets, designing efficient data pipelines, and building insightful dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data engineering tools and frameworks.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights
• Develop and manage retail KPI dashboards using Apache Superset, Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver custom analytics solutions and data products.
• Work with batch and streaming data pipelines using Kafka, Spark, or similar technologies.
• Optimize pipelines for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Preferably able to work with apache stack of DW/DL solutions such as Apache Iceberg, Hudi .
• Strong proficiency in Python, Databricks, Snowflake and SQL
• Implement data modeling and warehouse architectures to support analytics workflows.
• Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services .
• Write clean, modular, well-documented code and collaborate using Git and CI/CD workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering
