Skills Installation, configuration, and maintenance of VMware virtual operating systems and server hardware Design, deployment, and management of infrastructure within a data center. Monitoring and optimization of performance of VMware environments Implementation and maintainance of security measures for virtualized environments Management of virtual machine migrations, backups, and disaster recovery processes Troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to VMware and virtual servers Planning and execution of system upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal downtime. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and solutions. Development and maintainance of comprehensive documentation for system configurations and procedures. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years experience with VMware administration in data center environments Proficiency in Vmware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related technologies Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and infrastructure management Experience with server hardware, networking, and storage solutions Strong understanding of data center virtualization resilience Knowledge of PowerShell and other scripting languages for automation Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment Strong communication and documentation skills Additional skills VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher certification Experience with other virtualization platforms like Hyper-V Knowledge of ITIL practices and methodologies Named Job Posting?
