AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. As Data Centre Operations Tech, you will be the primary point of contact for internal customers. There is never a dull moment as each day presents itself with different challenges. Some of the key responsibilities you will undertake are: You will troubleshoot technical issues on advanced hardware, ranging from servers, storage and networking devices on a 24/7 basis. You will maintain a high level of system reliability and availability. You will participate in projects to enhance operational efficiencies with opportunities to share experiences and knowledge with our global network of technical experts. You will share knowledge and help train less technical staff on the best practices related to all service owner issues You will contribute towards building a great team by getting involved in the Amazon hiring process/candidate interviews

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment)
