Essential:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Commvault backup infrastructure for physical and virtual environments.
• Configure backup policies, schedules, and retention strategies.
• Performing restores and validate data integrity.
• Monitor backup jobs and troubleshoot failures.
• Optimize storage usage and backup windows.
• Support DR drills and ensure compliance with RPO/RTO objectives.
• Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
• Develop scripts for automating backup tasks and reporting.
• Integrate Commvault with cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
• Perform version upgrades and patch management.
• Work with storage, virtualization, and application teams for end-to-end backup solutions.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Commvault administration.
• Strong knowledge of backup architecture, deduplication, and storage integration.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud backup solutions (Azure/AWS).
• Familiarity with SQL, Exchange, and Oracle backup strategies.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
• Commvault Certified Professional (CCP) preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Minimum Qualification:

• 15 years of full-time education
• Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
