You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Key job responsibilitiesAbout You: You will be a proven manager with experience managing teams of high performers. You will have the ability to refine and develop processes to optimize operational excellence in every area of your role. You will be able to drive performance levels to achieve the pace at which we build and operate Data Centers in India for Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL). You will have previous experience in Data Centers, either building or managing (or both) along with exposure to developing great relationships with both internal teams and external vendors.
- 5+ years of managing technical teams with significant personnel management experience and examples of developing engineers and building successful teams experience
- Experience in major facilities incident management- Experience implementing process improvements- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in managing and troublshooting network- 7+ years of relevant experience in DC Operations,IT Operations or similar roles
- Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) field, or 3+ months of network and operating system support experience
- Experience in project management- 2+ years of Agile methods and processes experience- Experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar- Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma concepts- Experience implementing change management successfully transitioning programs into large-scale operationsOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
