We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Data Center Engineer to support new data center builds and infrastructure deployments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Dell PowerFlex, VMware virtualization, and physical server configuration and racking. This is a critical role in ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of enterprise infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute data center infrastructure builds, including racking, cabling, and configuring physical servers.Implement and manage Dell PowerFlex systems for hyper-converged infrastructure and storage solutions.Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware environments (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN).Collaborate with network, storage, and systems teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components.Perform system upgrades, patch management, and hardware diagnostics.Maintain documentation related to data center layouts, build procedures, and configurations.Ensure adherence to data center best practices in power, cooling, cable management, and physical security.Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and escalate vendor support when necessary.
