Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing data architectures and workflows for large-scale applications. This role requires working closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions for enterprise applications.
Define data modeling standards, frameworks, and best practices.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data models.
Optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and storage solutions.
Ensure data governance, security, and compliance with organizational policies.
Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of data platforms.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

Required Skills

6–7 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
Strong knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra).
Hands-on experience with data integration, ETL tools, and data pipelines.
Expertise in cloud-based data platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Proficiency in data warehousing, OLAP/OLTP concepts, and performance optimization.
Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and security practices.

Good to Have

Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
Exposure to machine learning data pipelines.
Knowledge of modern data architecture patterns (Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric).
