Job Description

Senior Data Analytics Engineer (Power BI, Data Warehousing & Data Analytics)

Experience: 5 Years

Location: Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and manage

    Power BI dashboards

    , reports, and data models.
  • Build and optimize

    data warehouse solutions

    to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Develop and maintain

    ETL pipelines

    ensuring data accuracy, quality, and security.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Monitor performance and implement best practices for data modeling, query optimization, and warehouse scalability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and recommend improvements to tools and processes.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in

    Power BI development

    (DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service).
  • Strong knowledge of

    data warehousing concepts

    (star schema, snowflake schema, indexing, partitioning).
  • Proficiency in

    SQL

    for data extraction, transformation, and optimization.
  • Experience with

    ETL tools

    (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with

    cloud-based data platforms

    (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of

    Python or R

    for data analytics is an advantage.
